FRANK community comprises artists, curators, creative professionals and representatives from art organisations, commercial galleries and funding bodies.

FRANK believes in collective engagement when making change happen. To build a collaborative ethos, FRANK provides opportunities for deep listening and in-depth inquiry in matters related to fair practice. FRANK Workshops and Forums significant activations of debate and discussions, as well as cross-learning and upskilling for all FRANK Members. Through fostering respectful, and brave environments FRANK engages all its members to contribute to change making.

FRANK Membership - Terms & Conditions

We aim to ensure our FRANK membership process is clear and straightforward while providing value and ease of access for our members. Below are the key details of how our membership system operates:

1. FRANK Community Access and Membership Benefits

FRANK Community Access

  • All members are automatically joined into the FRANK Community upon paid registration.
  • Artists and Creative Practitioners
    You will be asked to create an account on the FRANK Community portal.
  • Organisations and Galleries
    A link to set up your account will be sent once payment has been processed.

Benefits Overview

  • Membership benefits include access to FRANK Tools, resources, workshops, networking opportunities and FRANK community-only content.
  • Specific details about member benefits can be found in the FRANK Community online portal.

Membership processing may take up to 5 working days. Please note that FRANK processes emails and applications on Tuesdays only. 


2. Membership Duration and Renewal

Annual Membership Period

  • Memberships are valid for one year from the date of payment.
  • Once activated, memberships are non-refundable. This ensures fairness and consistency in our policy across all members.

Auto-Renewal for Artists and Creative Practitioners

  • To provide uninterrupted access to FRANK benefits, memberships for artists and creative practitioners are set to auto-renew at the end of the current term using the payment method initially provided.
  • Auto-renewal reminders
    • Members will receive an email notification at least 7 days before auto-renewal, outlining the upcoming charge.
    • Members can make changes to their payment method or cancel auto-renewal by logging into the FRANK Community portal or contacting us directly.

Annual Renewal for Organisations and Galleries

  • Renewal for organisations and galleries is handled manually to provide flexibility for updates such as invoicing details or organisational changes.
  • Renewal Reminders
    • Email reminders will be sent to the key contacts provided in your application 60 days and 7 days before membership expiration to ensure ample time for review and renewal.
    • If renewal is not completed by the due date, membership access will be paused until reactivated.

3. Non-Refundable Policy

Rationale

Membership fees directly support the development of tools, resources, workshops, and opportunities for the FRANK community. To ensure equitable use of these funds, fees are non-refundable once processed.

Example Scenarios

  • If a member decides to withdraw midway through their membership year, the fee remains non-refundable.
  • If an organisation chooses not to renew, the membership will simply lapse at the end of the current term.
